The gear box it’s an important mechanism in the vehicle that it’s in charge of modified de revolutions of the engine, with the different ratios of each of the speed and the differential set. These modifications in the engine revolutions are made for the vehicle in order to leave the rest with a high torque because it has to overcome the different forces such as vehicle weight, coefficient of friction, etc and continue with the speed compromising the torque vs. power with respect to engine revolutions, to achieve their highest final speed. The gear box allows that the car advance with the different gearbox speeds but also allows changing the way, with the reverse gear. In order to the car moves forward the engine and gearbox must be in solidarity with each other thanks to the clutch which engages and disengages the engine and gearbox. The driver is the one that execute the gear selection and speeds, operating the clutch pedal when is necessary depending on the revolution drop, regardless of load, geographic location or external conditions, in order to reduce the effort once the motor is in motion and take advantage of the inertia and the speed that leads.
