Análisis Criminalístico: Balística, Audio y Video Forense y Sistemas Integrados de Gestión en la Prueba Pericial

Abstract

La criminalística, como disciplina científica al servicio de la justicia, juega un papel crucial en la investigación y solución de crímenes, mediante el análisis riguroso de indicios y pruebas. El presente trabajo final se enfoca en tres áreas fundamentales: balística, audio y video forense, y pruebas periciales, con un enfoque en la legislación de Ecuador. La balística investiga como actúan los proyectiles y las armas de fuego, así como permite analizar indicios físicos, que pueden determinar aspectos cruciales como el recorrido de un disparo y la distancia desde la que se realizó entre el tirador, el objetivo, y la identificación de armas involucradas en un incidente. Este estudio no solo facilita la reconstrucción de eventos, sino que también proporciona evidencia decisiva para establecer responsabilidades legales.En este sentido, el área de audio y video forense, permite obtener información detallada de fuentes audiovisuales en base a un análisis científico y técnico que, por medio de herramientas tecnológicas especializadas, permiten validar la integridad de las grabaciones e identificar alteraciones o manipulaciones, las cuales son esenciales para reconstruir eventos, corroborar testimonios en los procesos judiciales en Ecuador. This final work focuses on three fundamental areas: ballistics, forensic audio and video, and expert evidence, with a focus on the legislation of Ecuador.Ballistics investigates how projectiles and firearms act, as well as allows the analysis of physical evidence, which can determine crucial aspects such as the path of a shot and the distance from which it was fired between the shooter, the target, and the identification of weapons involved in an incident. This study not only facilitates the reconstruction of events, but also provides decisive evidence to establish legal liability.In this sense, the area of forensic audio and video allows detailed information to be obtained from audiovisual sourcesbased on a scientific and technical analysis that, through specialized technological tools, allows validating the integrity of the recordings and identifying alterations or manipulations, which are essential to reconstruct events, corroborate testimonies in judicial processes in Ecuador.
