Estrategias de Cooperación Internacional para la Promoción de la Sostenibilidad Ambiental en Ecuador

Abstract

El turismo sostenible es un enfoque del turismo que busca minimizar los impactos negativos del turismo en el medio ambiente, la economía y la sociedad. En las playas de Manabí, Ecuador, el turismo ha crecido significativamente en los últimos años, lo que ha provocado una serie de problemas ambientales, como la contaminación, la pérdida de biodiversidad y el cambio climático. El objetivo de esta investigación ha sido evaluar el impacto de las prácticas de turismo sostenible implementadas en las playas de Manabí (San Jacinto), Ecuador, lo que determinará sus efectos en el medio ambiente local, la economía regional y la experiencia turística. Los resultados del proyecto muestran que las prácticas de turismo sostenible pueden tener un impacto positivo en el medio ambiente, la economía y la sociedad. Sin embargo, el proyecto también identificó una serie de desafíos para la implementación del turismosostenible en las playas de Manabí, como la falta de recursos financieros, la falta de participación de los actores clave y los riesgos ambientales. Los resultados del proyecto pueden tener implicaciones para el turismo sostenible en otros destinos turísticos. En particular, los resultados muestran que las prácticas de turismo sostenible pueden tener un impacto positivo en el medio ambiente, la economía y la sociedad.
