The project to implement solar systems in the El Manantial Urbanization aims to take advantage of solar energy to satisfy the energy needs of the homes in this community. Two types of solar systems have been analyzed: photovoltaic and thermal, through the design of two financing scenarios, in this way, regarding photovoltaic solar systems, it has been demonstrated that the implementation of these systems is economically viable, given that, Internal rates of return (IRR) of the project of 13.74% and 19.82% have been obtained for financing with own funds and Project Finance, respectively. In addition, the Payback has been calculated to be approximately 7.46 years in the self-financing scenario and 12 years in the Project Finance scenario. These results indicate that investment in photovoltaic systemscan generate profits over time, being more favorable in the Project Finance scenario. In this, it was obtained that solar thermal systems have also proven to be a profitable option. The project's IRR of 7.92% and a Payback of 12 years have been calculated in the self-financing scenario, and IRR of 12.19% and a Payback of 11 years in the Project Finance scenario. Although the rates of return are lower compared to photovoltaic systems, they are still attractive, especially in the Project Finance scenario, leading to the conclusion that the project is viable. |
