Abstract: To supply 100 homes with solar energy, an annual consumption of 557,500 MW-h was estimated. A photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 72 kW-p and 540 square meters was designed, generating around 113,000 MW-h annually. A secondary self-sufficient system with 250 Wp panels and batteries powers the monitoring structure. For hot water in 100 houses, solar collection areas of 11 square meters each were allocated. Two options were presented for the solar thermal system with a demand of 240,000 MW-h per year: a) flat plate collectors, and b) vacuum tube collectors, with areas of 2.32 and 2.63 square meters respectively.For the solar project, an evaluation is being conducted to determine whether it will be implemented on the roofs of houses or as a centralized installation on a plot of land, depending on the urban characteristics of the area. Available information on certain websites that allows for the calculation of the necessary equipment size based on the energy to be generated will be utilized. Additionally, an option for independent solar energy for the technical office is being considered.
