Intervención arquitectónica del Hospital Militar Básico N°7 de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

El Hospital Militar Básico N°7 de la ciudad de Loja, se crea en 1956 para satisfacer las necesidades de la población militar y sus familias. Con el pasar del tiempo, en el año 1980 se realiza la compra del bien inmueble ubicado en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Loja (actualmente catalogado como patrimonial) que data del año 1967, ampliando así su cobertura a la ciudadanía en general. Sin embargo, esta ampliación no ha ido a la par con el desarrollo y mejora de la infraestructura y otros servicios para la atención de la salud, presentando al momento limitada infraestructura, deficiente organización espacial y un desgaste de la misma, lo que imposibilita ofrecer un servicio de calidad. Por ello, se plantea diseñar un proyecto de intervención arquitectónica para el Hospital Militar Básico N° 7 de la ciudad de Loja, para mejorar su calidad espacial y capacidad hospitalaria, que permita otorgar una atención digna e integral a los usuarios, considerando aspectos de salubridad, ventilación, iluminación, circulación/tránsito, funcionalidad, normativas etc. Con lo cual se espera dar respuesta a una necesidad de la sociedad local, que demanda de un hospital básico que cuente con todos los servicios y especialidades para el servicio.
