Implantar un sistema de movilidad como servicio en la ciudad de Cuenca

Abstract

El presente trabajo de titulación comprende el análisis para la implementación de un sistema de movilidad como servicio en la ciudad de Cuenca, los procedimientos y actores necesarios para proveer un servicio de transporte privado a través de una aplicación móvil que genera y gestiona el viaje que puede ser solicitado con dos modalidades de vehículos: autos eléctricos individuales o de uso compartido y scooters eléctricos, con el objetivo de brindar la mejor solución de transporte privado adaptado a las necesidades del usuario de forma segura, ágil e intuitiva. Se describe la situación actual de la ciudad de Cuenca en relación con su población, sus sistemas de transporte vigentes, los problemas existentes y las oportunidades que se tienen al implementar el sistema de movilidad como servicio y los análisis previos con el fin de implementar un plan de movilidad sustentable con el paso del tiempo. Adicionalmente, se analizan los métodos de conexión con el usuario y cómo a su vez se relaciona con el medio de transporte por medio de diferentes procedimientos que harán posible un registro, reserva y uso del servicio; así como los procesos de la empresa que aseguran la consecución de su objetivo. Se describen también los sistemas de información que respaldan el funcionamiento operativo del servicio y cómo estos generan la información necesaria para el análisis y métricas de objetivos de la empresa. Se presentan también las principales métricas clave para el análisis de resultados y desempeño del servicio prestado con el fin de aplicar una mejora continua a los diferentes escenarios que hacen posible la continuidad de negocio con los mejores estándares de calidad. This degree work includes the analysis for the implementation of a mobility system as a service in the city of Cuenca, the procedures and actors necessary to provide a private transportation service through a mobile application that generates and manages the trip that can be requested with two modalities of vehicles: individual or shared use electric cars and electric scooters, with the objective of providing the best private transportation solution adapted to the needs of the user in a safe, agile and intuitive way. The current situation of the city of Cuenca is described in relation to its population, its current transportation systems, existing problems and opportunities for implementing the mobility system as a service, and previous analyses in order to implement a sustainable mobility plan over time. Additionally, the methods of connection with the user and how he/she relates to the means of transportation through different procedures that will make possible the registration, reservation and use of the service are analyzed, as well as the company's processes that ensure the achievement of its objective. The information systems that support the operational functioning of the service and how they generate the necessary information for the analysis and metrics of the company's objectives are also described. The main key metrics for the analysis of results and performance of the service provided are also presented in order to apply continuous improvement to the different scenarios that make business continuity possible with the best quality standards.
