La autoestima y su incidencia en la práctica del sexting en los estudiantes de la unidad educativa “El Chaco

Abstract

La investigación realizada cuyo objetivo fue analizar la autoestima y su incidencia en la práctica del sexting en 212 estudiantes que comprendían los 14 años hasta los 18 años del curso de bachillerato, de la Unidad Educativa “El Chaco”, utilizando en primera instancia una encuesta sociodemográfica y por último dos instrumentos que fueron: Escala de sexting- ESC y la prueba de Autoestima de Rosemberg. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la autoestima juega un papel importante, es decir, cuando la persona tiene una buena autoestima la disposición activa al sexting baja, por otro lado, los adolescentes que alguna vez realizaron esta conducta tienden a mostrar sentimientos de vergüenza y de inmoralidad; sin embargo, dentro del análisis, se pudo constatar que si existen estudiantes involucrados en el intercambio de contenido sexual y erótico con una actividad poco frecuente a través de un dispositivo tecnológico, siendo los hombres quienes tienen mayor disposición activa al sexting que las mujeres. The research carried out whose objective was to analyze self-esteem and its incidence in the practice of sexting in 212 students who were between 14 years old and 18 years old in the high school course, from the Educational Unit "El Chaco", using in the first instance a sociodemographic survey and for the last two instruments that were: Sexting Scale-ESC and the Rosemberg Self-esteem test. The results obtained indicate that self-esteem plays an important role, that is, when the person has a good self-esteem, the active disposition to sexting decreases, on the other hand, adolescents who have ever performed this behavior tend to show feelings of shame and immorality. ; however, within the analysis, it was found that if there are students involved in the exchange of sexual and erotic content with an infrequent activity through a technological device, men are the ones who are more actively willing to sexting than women.
