Intervención arquitectónica y urbana de la escuela de educación básica fiscomisional Segundo Cueva Celi en el cantón Paquisha, provincia Zamora Chinchipe

Abstract

La presente investigación contempla el análisis, evaluación y propuesta de intervención de la escuela Segundo Cueva Celi en el Cantón Paquisha. La primera construcción del bloque de aulas fue realizada por la comunidad local hace aproximadamente cincuenta años a través de mingas y gestiones, posteriormente se realizó ampliaciones y modificaciones sin ninguna planificación, esto como respuesta a la alta demanda de la población estudiantil. La distribución actual de aulas no permite que el equipamiento funcione como un todo, y no hay una relación formal ni funcional, así mismo no existe una conexión entre los bloques de aulas, dejando espacios libres en desuso, zonas recreativas y espacios verdes inadecuados e ineficientes. El mantenimiento que presenta es básico, debido a ello, presenta deterioros y su vida útil se acorta. Los espacios de la escuela están esquematizados para una educación lineal, la mayoría de ellos no cuentan con los estudios de confort y sustentabilidad que permitan tener un espacio de estudio gratificante para los estudiantes. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de investigación se enfocó, en diseñar un proyecto arquitectónico y urbano de la Escuela de Educación básica fiscomisional Segundo Cueva Celi en el Cantón Paquisha, Provincia Zamora Chinchipe, aplicando criterios de resiliencia. En la presente propuesta se aplican criterios de resiliencia a través de estrategias de diseño; dichas estrategias fueron aplicadas a los nuevos edificios para cumplir con la demanda de la población estudiantil, teniendo en cuenta los estándares vigentes de infraestructura educativa. Los resultados del proyecto fueron; la conservación del bloque cuatro, el mismo que fue una condicionante para el diseño de los nuevos edificios, la distribución partió en torno a un gran patio central, que sirve como núcleo central y también como punto de encuentro social, generando una continuidad visual desde la plaza central, de esta manera se integra el uso mixto comunitario al centro educativo. Por tanto, la distribución de los nuevos bloques fue respuesta a la reorganización de los bloques existentes, en donde no había una conexión entre ellos, los ambientes no estaban definidos, y se realizaban actividades que no eran complementarias entre sí. En la presente propuesta de diseño del centro educativo se aplica criterios resilientes, utilizando materiales locales y reutilizables, también se aplica estrategias de diseño pasivo en los diferentes ambientes que se ha diseñado para los estudiantes; esto en respuesta a los problemas que ocasionan los eventos naturales, permitiendo así alargar su vida útil, y a la vez evitar una mayor contaminación. This research includes the analysis, evaluation and intervention proposal of the Segundo Cueva Celi school in the city of Paquisha. The first construction of the block of classrooms was carried out by the local community approximately fifty years ago through community work and efforts. Subsequently, extensions and modifications were made without any planning, this in response to the high demand of the student population. The current distribution of classrooms does not allow the equipment to function as a whole, and there is no formal or functional relationship, likewise there is no connection between the classroom blocks, leaving unused free spaces, recreational areas and inadequate and inefficient green spaces. The maintenance it presents is basic, due to this, it presents deteriorations and its useful life is shortened. The spaces of the school are outlined for a linear education, most of them do not have the studies of comfort and sustainability that allow to have a rewarding study space for the students. Therefore, the research objective was focused on designing an architectural and urban project of the Second Cueva Celi Fiscomisional School of Basic Education in the city of Paquisha, Zamora Chinchipe Province, applying resilience strategies. In this proposal, resilience strategies are applied through design strategies; These strategies were applied to the new buildings to meet the demand of the student population, taking into account the current standards of educational infrastructure. The results of the project were; the conservation of block four, which was a determining factor for the design of the new buildings. The distribution started around a large central courtyard, which serves as a central nucleus and also as a social meeting point, generating a visual continuity from the central plaza, in this way the mixed use community is integrated into the educational center. Therefore, the distribution of the new blocks was a response to the reorganization of the existing blocks, where there was no connection between them, the environments were not defined, and activities that were not complementary to each other were carried out. In the present design proposal of the educational center, resilient strategies are applied, using local and reusable materials, passive design strategies are also applied in the different environments that have been designed for students; this in response to the problems caused by natural events, thus allowing to extend its useful life, and at the same time avoid further contamination.
