Abstract: Resumen Ejecutivo La empresa Sol Oxi, se mantiene en un mercado competitivo, la comercialización de gases industriales, medicinales y herramientas está en expansión ya que el gobierno viene incentivando la creación de emprendimientos, dentro de los cuales se destacan las metalmecánicas y afines, las que para sus procesos productivos requieren de estos insumos para la transformación de materia prima en productos terminados. Precisamente, para colaborar con la empresa en mención, se propone un plan estratégico para los siguientes cinco años, que le permita ser competitiva y sostenible en el tiempo. La planeación estratégica se fundamenta en tres objetivos a largo plazo alineados a la visión de la empresa, además, se ha realizado un análisis de factores internos y externos mediante las matrices FODA, MIE y PEYEA que permitieron determinar la posición estratégica de Sol Oxi y enfocar estrategias dirigidas a la penetración del mercado. A partir del análisis FODA se definieron 14 estrategias, de las cuales seis son retenidas y ocho de contingencia, de igual forma se precisaron diez objetivos a corto plazo, a los que se asignaron recursos, se propusieron políticas para cumplir con las estrategias retenidas, así como, el cambio estructural de la organización con la creación de un departamento de marketing y el puesto de auxiliar de contabilidad. Finalmente, se establece el Tablero de Control Balanceado como instrumento que facilitará a la gerencia medir el cumplimiento de los objetivos a corto plazo de acuerdo a los indicadores y periodicidad establecidos.   Abstract The company Sol Oxi, remains in a competitive market, the commercialization of industrial gases, medicines and tools is expanding as the government has been encouraging the creation of ventures, among which the metalworking and related industries stand out, which for their productive processes require these inputs for the transformation of raw material into finished products. Precisely, to collaborate with the mentioned company, a strategic plan is proposed for the following five years, which allows it to be competitive and sustainable over time. The strategic planning is based on three long-term objectives aligned with the vision of the company, in addition, an analysis of internal and external factors has been carried out through the SWOT, MIE and PEYEA matrices that allowed Sol Oxi's strategic position to be determined and focus strategies aimed at market penetration. From the SWOT analysis, 14 strategies were defined, of which six are retained and eight are contingency, in the same way ten short-term objectives were specified, to which resources were assigned, policies were proposed to comply with the strategies retained, as well as like, the structural change of the organization with the creation of a marketing department and the post of accounting assistant. Finally, the Balanced Control Board is established as an instrument that will facilitate management to measure compliance with short-term objectives according to established indicators and periodicity.
