Abstract: El proyecto nace en Loja, Ecuador, una ciudad que concentra el 10% de la población estudiantil del país, con tres universidades principales: la Universidad Nacional de Loja (UNL), la Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL) y la Universidad Internacional del Ecuador (UIDE). A pesar de esta alta demanda, ninguna de estas instituciones cuenta con residencias estudiantiles propias. Esto obliga a los estudiantes foráneos, que son una mayoría significativa y provienen de cantones de Loja, Zamora Chinchipe, El Oro y otras provincias, a rentar habitaciones, departamentos o suites improvisadas, que suelen carecer de una planificación adecuada...The project originates in Loja, Ecuador, a city that hosts approximately 10% of the country's student population and is home to three major universities: the National University of Loja (UNL), the Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL), and the International University of Ecua dor (UIDE). Despite this high demand, none of these institutions provide their own student housing facilities. As a result, out-of-town students—who represent a significant portion of the student population and come from cantons within Loja, Zamora Chinchipe, El Oro, and other provinces—are forced to rent rooms, apartments, or improvised suites that often lack adequate planning and design...
