Prevalencia de riesgo de desnutrición hospitalaria en pacientes que ingresan en los servicios de cirugía y medicina interna del Hospital de Especialidades Eugenio Espejo durante el período enero a mayo del 2023

Abstract

Se estableció la prevalencia de riesgo de desnutrición hospitalaria y sus determinantes como condiciones clínicas, sociodemográficas y atención hospitalaria en el hospital Eugenio Espejo de la ciudad de Quito.El estudio fue de diseño descriptivo de corte transversal donde participaron 60 pacientes mayores de 18 años de los servicios de cirugía y medicina interna con historia clínica abierta y diagnostico definido de donde se sacaron los datos para aplicarles la encuesta Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS), por el cual mediante un screening inicial y un screening final proporción información sobre el estado nutricional, la severidad de la enfermedad y el riesgo nutrimental de cada paciente.
