Abstract: | cuatro pastillas de freno fueron analizadas, la primera y la segunda aproximadamente a 2500 metros sobre el nivel del mar, la tercera y la cuarta a nivel del mar, ambas pertenecientes al vehículo de marca Volkswagen modelo jetta año 2011. El objetivo fue proporcionar la información necesaria a los lectores para tener conocimiento de la variación del desgaste en las pastillas de freno a diferentes alturas. Metodología: para esto, se realiza ensayos en banco de pruebas bajo las condiciones antes mencionadas. Resultados: los resultados de los ensayos mostraron que existen desgaste por abrasivos, corrosión, fatiga. Conclusión: a partir de los analices realizados se determinó que se incrementa el desgaste a nivel del mar debido al desgaste abrasivo. four brake pads were analyzed, the first and the second approximately at 2500 meters above sea level, the third and the fourth at sea level, both belonging to the Volkswagen brand model jetta vehicle, year 2011. The objective was provide the necessary information to the readers to have knowledge of the variation of the wear in the brake pads at different heights. Methodology: for this, tests are carried out in a test bench under the aforementioned conditions. Results: the results of the tests showed that there is abrasive wear, corrosion, fatigue. Conclusion: based on the analyzes performed, it was determined that wear at sea level is increased due to abrasive wear. |
