Estudio del coeficiente de adherencia de la zona Andina mediante Norma ECE-13H

Abstract

El constante crecimiento del parque automotor, genera la necesidad de validar si la Norma Internacional ECE-13H adoptada en el Ecuador como documento base de la Norma RTE034, cumple con los requerimientos estipulados al aplicarla en las calzadas que conforman la Red Vial del Ecuador, con relación a la adherencia. Esto tomando en cuenta que la calibración de los sistemas de los diferentes vehículos que circulan en el Ecuador, no se realizan con coeficientes propios de nuestra zona, sino basados en condiciones ambientales y geográficas extranjeras diferentes a las nuestras. El desarrollo de esta investigación inicia con el estudio de los sistemas del vehículo que hacen posible su desaceleración, teniendo entre los más relevantes al sistema de frenos y los neumáticos; para lo cual se comprende su funcionamiento y las fuerzas que actúan directamente sobre el comportamiento del automotor al pisar el pedal del freno en una situación de emergencia con el ABS desactivado; esto para probar la eficiencia real de los neumáticos con relación a las calzadas seleccionadas que contemplan a la asfaltada, adoquinada y empedrada...

The constant growth of vehicle fleet, generates the need to validate if the international standard ECE-13H which was adopted in Ecuador as the basic document of the standard RTE-034, fulfills the stipulated requirements when applied to the roads that are part of the road network of Ecuador, referring to the adherence. This, taking into account that the calibration of the systems of the different vehicles circulating in Ecuador are not performed with coefficients of our own area, but based on environmental and foreign geographical conditions which are different from ours. The development of this research starts with the study of the vehicle systems that make possible its deceleration. The most relevant are the brake system and the tires. That´s why, we have to understand their operation and the forces that influence directly on the behavior of the vehicle when pressing the brake pedal in an emergent situation with the ABS system deactivated. This, in order to test the real efficiency of the tires in regards to the selected roads that can be asphalted, paved or covered with cobblestones. ..
