La presente investigación aborda la problemática de la pérdida de identidad arquitectónica del sector rural sur del cantón Loja. El objetivo principal consistió en documentar los patrones de arquitectura vernácula de las parroquias de Malacatos, Vilcabamba y Yangana, para identificar patrones arquitectónicos. The main objective was to document the patterns of vernacular architecture in the parishes of Malacatos, Vilcabamba, and Yangana in order to identify architectural patterns.
