Abstract: Optimizing performance in Taekwondo relies heavily on accurate and objective skill assessment—an area where traditional human observation often falls short, particu larly during routine training sessions. While commercial electronic scoring systems (PSSs) have introduced greater objectivity into official competition [4], its main practi cal utility and direct contribution to Taekwondo academies lies in its potential as an ad vanced training and performance analysis tool. The development and implementation of sensor-based systems and real-time analytics responds directly to the importance of providing coaches and athletes with reliable quantitative data that goes beyond simple scoring [2,5].
