Diseño de un Centro de Rehabilitación Social de mínima seguridad para la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

El diseño de un centro de rehabilitación social de mínima seguridad para la ciudad de Loja, surge en respuesta a las deficientes condiciones de habitabilidad del actual equipamiento. La misma presenta una estructura ineficiente con una falta de espacios al aire libre en la unidad penitenciaria, el hacinamiento al interior de la edificación y la inseguridad que acompleja su función. Debido a la inseguridad que la edificación actual genera en la comunidad. Se busca diseñar una propuesta que resolverá el déficit espacial, designando espacios amplios para la socialización e integración de las personas privadas de su libertad, creando un ambiente que reduzca el impacto negativo del encarcelamiento en su interior. La metodología usada se compone de tres fases la recopilación bibliográfica de la arquitectura penitenciaria, el diagnóstico delimitará el sitio y el sistema ambiental del contexto, y la definición y conceptualización del proyecto arquitectónico. La propuesta se enfocó en diseñar un equipamiento penitenciario que resuelva espacios destinados para la población carcelaria, el personal de custodio y administrativo, esto es posible en base a las necesidades que se requiere, partiendo con una distribución espacial separando las áreas a través de un eje de circulación por las funciones de cada bloque, designando las funciones por tramos para las áreas de recreación, alojamiento, servicios y funciones administrativas. Con el fin de recrear un entorno saludable para la rehabilitación, optimizando el control interno en beneficio de la comunidad penitenciaria. The design of a minimum-security social rehabilitation center for the city of Loja arises in response to the poor living conditions of the current facility. It presents an inefficient structure with a lack of outdoor spaces within the penitentiary, overcrowding inside the building, and insecurity that hinders its function. Due to the insecurity caused by the current building, the aim is to design a proposal that will address the spatial deficit, allocating large spaces for the socialization and integration of people deprived of their liberty, creating an environment that reduces the negative impact of incarceration inside. The methodology used consists of three phases: the bibliographic collection of penitentiary architecture, the diagnosis that will define the site and the environmental system of the context, and the definition and conceptualization of the architectural project. The proposal focused on designing a penitentiary facility that provides spaces for the incarcerated population, custodial staff, and administrative personnel. This is possible based on the required needs, starting with a spatial distribution that separates areas through a circulation axis according to the function of each block, designating functions by sections for recreation areas, housing, services, and administrative functions. The aim is to recreate a healthy environment for rehabilitation, optimizing internal control for the benefit of the penitentiary community.
