Diseño Interior del Restaurante "La Paella Valenciana", 2024

Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda la re adecuación del diseño interior del restaurante "La Paella Valenciana", un establecimiento gastronómico con más de 40 años de historia en la ciudad de Quito, Ecuador, especializado su plato típico la Paella Valenciana y mariscos. A través de un análisis exhaustivo de la problemática actual, se identificaron deficiencias en la distribución equipamiento, iluminación, ventilación, funcionalidad y estética de los espacios, tanto en el área de salón como en la cocina, que afectan negativamente la funcionalidad y la identidad del restaurante. Se propone un diseño integral enfocado en recuperar la identidad cultural y gastronómica del sitio, mejorando la experiencia del usuario mediante la creación de ambientes más acogedores y funcionales para los comensales, alineados con la cultura española. El proyecto busca además optimizar el uso del espacio, incorporar elementos y actividades innovadoras, y a su vez fortalecer la marca del restaurante en el competitivo mercado gastronómico de la ciudad de Quito. This paper addresses the interior design of the restaurant "La Paella Valenciana", a gastronomicestablishment with more than 40 years of history in the city of Quito, Ecuador, specializingin the typical dish "Paella Valenciana" and seafood. Through an exhaustive analysis of thecurrent problems, deficiencies were identified in the distribution, equipment, lighting, ventilation,functionality and aesthetics of the spaces, both in the lounge area and in the kitchen,which negatively affect the functionality and identity of the restaurant. A comprehensivedesign is proposed, focused on recovering the cultural and gastronomic identity of the site,improving the user experience by creating more welcoming and functional environments fordiners, aligned with Spanish culture. The project also seeks to optimize the use of space,incorporate innovative elements and activities, and in turn strengthen the restaurant's Brand in the competitive gastronomic market of the city of Quito.
