Impacto de los siniestros de tránsito por motocicletas en la provincia del Guayas en los años 2021-2022

Abstract

Los siniestros de tránsito terrestre son una de las mayores causas de morbimortalidad en el mundo, donde aproximadamente el 1.19 millones de personas mueren anualmente. En Ecuador según el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos (INEC) para los años 2021 y 2022 la mortalidad por siniestros de tránsito terrestre se ubicaba en séptima posición, con un incremento del 9,57% entre un año y el otro. Land traffic accidents are one of the largest causes of morbidity and mortality in the world, where approximately 1.19 million people die annually. In Ecuador, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC), for 2021 and 2022, mortality from land traffic accidents was in seventh position, with an increase of 9.57% between one year and the next.
