El sicariato en la provincia de El Oro, Año 2022

Abstract

El sicariato es un fenómeno reconocido a nivel mundial, y el Ecuador no está exento de ello, tomando en cuenta que este delito se viene dando desde tiempos muy remotos; sin embargo, entre una de las circunstancias que lo incrementan, tenemos la influencia del narcotráfico, con lo cual ha crecido rápidamente el sicariato a nivel nacional. El crecimiento de este delito en el año en 2022, nos demuestra que se constituye en una grave amenaza para la seguridad ciudadana; tomando en consideración que la normativa vigente es favorable a los delincuentes y deja desprotegidas a las víctimas, citando como ejemplo que; (un sicario puede matar y luego de unos días puede salir a cometer nuevamente el mismo delito); haciendo de esta manera que sea necesario y urgente actualizar y reformar las leyes penales, acorde a la realidad y a los cambios sociales que se viven actualmente. La rigurosidad de la ley, el incremento de las penas, la imputabilidad de adolescentes, entre otros aspectos; podrían ser algunas de las soluciones en las que se puede trabajar para mejorar el sistema de justicia. The hit-and-run crime is a worldwide recognized phenomenon, and Ecuador is not exempt from it, taking into account that this crime has been occurring since ancient times; however, among one of the circumstances that increase it, we have the influence of drug trafficking, which has rapidly grown the hit-and-run crime nationwide. The growth of this crime in the year 2022, shows us that it constitutes a serious threat to citizen security; taking into consideration that the current legislation is favorable to criminals and leaves the victims unprotected, citing as an example that; (a hitman can kill and after a few days can go out to commit the same crime again); thus making it necessary and urgent to update and reform the criminal laws, according to the reality and social changes that are currently living. The strictness of the law, the increase of penalties, the imputability of adolescents, among other aspects, could be some of the solutions that can be worked on to improve the justice system.
