Alojamiento Turístico en Nanegalito

Abstract

Nanegalito ubicado al Noroccidente de Quito, es una de las mayores reservas de biosfera mundial albergando diferentes ecosistemas, bosques y microclimas. A la vez, esta zona es heredera de la cultura prehispánica Yumbo que logro avances significados a nivel político, económico, tecnológico y social; pero a pesar de todas estas características no se ha logrado posicionar dentro de la industria del turismo. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de la propuesta es combinar el turismo de lujo con la comunidad a partir de una conexión entre arquitectura, naturaleza, comunidad y cultura. Para lograr este objetivo se aplican metodologías que incluyen la revisión literaria científica donde se observaron los datos de la demanda turística, se realizaron recorridos fotográficos y varios mapeos del medio físico, social y ambiental dando como resultado estrategias de diseño aplicadas tanto en la propuesta a nivel urbano como arquitectónico. De igual manera, se crean conceptos relacionados con las temáticas anteriores y se plantea un desarrollo volumétrico que parte de la cosmovisión andina del pueblo Yumbo. En este sentido la propuesta abarca la arquitectura de los 4 elementos, que genera distintas percepciones mediante una arquitectura que se mimetiza con el entorno a través de materiales vernáculos; logrando crear espacios recreacionales, culturales y de relajación. Se concluye que la propuesta de un alojamiento turístico a partir de su diseño arquitectónico sensorial tiene potencial para combinar la arquitectura vernácula con el lujo, la cultura y el paisaje natural, y pudiese ser estudiada para proyectos de este estilo en contextos de alta demanda turística. Nanegalito located northwest of Quito, is one of the largest world biosphere reserves housing different ecosystems, forests and microclimates. At the same time, this area is heir to the pre-Hispanic Yumbo culture that achieved significant advances at the political, economic, technological and social levels; but despite all these characteristics it has not been able to position itself within the tourism industry. Therefore, the objective of the proposal is to combine luxury tourism with the community based on a connection between architecture, nature, community and culture. To achieve this objective, methodologies are applied that include the scientific literary review where the data of the tourist demand were observed, photographic tours and various mappings of the physical, social and environmental environment were carried out, resulting in design strategies applied both in the proposal at the level urban and architectural. In the same way, concepts related to the previous themes are created and a volumetric development is proposed that starts from the Andean worldview of the Yumbo people. In this sense, the proposal encompasses the architecture of the 4 elements, which generates different perceptions through an architecture that blends in with the environment through vernacular materials; managing to create recreational, cultural and relaxation spaces. It is concluded that the proposal of a tourist accommodation based on its sensory architectural design has the potential to combine vernacular architecture with luxury, culture and the natural landscape, and could be studied for projects of this style in contexts of high tourist demand.
