Abstract: El COVID-19 ha cambiado profundamente nuestras vidas, es importante reconocer el trabajo heroico de los profesionales de la salud para mantenerse a flote durante estos tiempos difíciles. Al mismo tiempo, otros sectores, incluido la industria de alimentos, están realizando un trabajo importante para ayudar a mantener el suministro de alimentos y bebidas en todo el mundo. Como resultado del impacto de la pandemia del COVID-19 el mundo se vio afectado en todas las industrias, a través de la restricción de movilidad, demoras en las importaciones debido al contagio masivo del personal operativo, cierre de fronteras, factores que repercutieron en la industria alimentaria, a pesar de estos factores la industria alimentaria no se vio afectada considerablemente, ya que se desarrollaron nuevas formas para adquirir alimentos, a través de la creación y desarrollo de aplicaciones en plataformas virtuales, las cuales en los tiempos más difíciles de la pandemia fueron alternativas de compra. La presente investigación se procederá a realizar un análisis de partidas arancelarias, en donde se podrá observar cuales fueron los índices de consumo antes, durante y después de haber iniciado la pandemia. At the same time, other sectors, including the food industry, are doing important work to help maintain food and beverage supplies around the world. As a result of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world was affected in all industries, through mobility restrictions, import delays due to the massive contagion of operational personnel, border closures, factors that affected the food industry, despite these factors, the food industry was not significantly affected, since new ways to acquire food were developed, through the creation and development of applications on virtual platforms, which in the most difficult times of the pandemic They were alternative purchases. The present investigation will proceed to carry out an analysis of tariff items, where it will be possible to observe what the consumption rates were before, during and after the pandemic began.
