This study aims to analyze and compare two types of stabilizer bars used in SUV type vehicles, analyzing two vehicles, one from 2010 and the other from 2018, vehicles that have a great acceptance and presence in the local market, in which different types of stabilizer bars are used, analyzing the behavior of the suspension of each model, using the BEISSBARTH GmbH 600 braking and translation axle test bench. The methodology used is of a descriptive qualitative type, the suspension of two test vehicles Will be used applying the appropriate and calibrated Beissbarth equipment, executing tests where the condition of the vehicle and its operation is observed with indicators such as speed, braking force difference, among others. Therefore, the results obtained show that the alternate stabilizer bar presents a higher vibration based on a higher frequency registered in the test bench, on the other hand, the percentage of adherence to the ground in the original stabilizer bar, the front axle presents less adherence to the ground than the alternate bar, and in the rear axle these results were inverted. Finally, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the link bars depends on the vehicle model and its characteristics.
