Intervención arquitectónica en el edificio de la Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana “Benjamín Carrión” núcleo de Loja

Abstract

En todas las provincias del Ecuador existen núcleos de la Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana Benjamín Carrión, las cuales están articuladas en la Sede Nacional, en Quito. Estas casas cumplen un rol muy importante dentro de la cuidad, ya que prestan servicio para el desarrollo de diferentes actividades culturales. Sin embargo, han sido intervenidas de alguna u otra manera; pues con el transcurso del tiempo van incrementando nuevas necesidades, además de nuevas disciplinas y por ende se han modificado los espacios sin tener un análisis previo. Siendo el ilustre lojano Benjamín Carrión el fundador de esta institución, es necesario que la cuidad de Loja cuente con una infraestructura adecuada, pues actualmente la Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana “Benjamín Carrión” Núcleo de Loja presenta un sin número de problemas y necesidades. Por tal motivo se ha planteado realizar una intervención arquitectónica en el edificio de la CCE, manteniendo su estructura existente y generando soluciones a los problemas actuales como: accesibilidad al edificio, carencia de espacios, problemas de iluminación y ventilación, espacios reducidos, problemas de acústica en el auditorio, insuficiencia y mal estado de baterías sanitarias, entre otros; para lo cual se realiza un análisis previo mediante una metodología de valoración y análisis arquitectónico. Con esto se obtiene un diagnóstico preciso que permite aplicar las estrategias adecuadas que ayudarán a solventar los problemas y necesidades actuales de la edificación, creando una infraestructura apropiada para que se puedan desarrollar de mejor manera las diferentes actividades artísticas y culturales. These houses play a very important role within the city, as they provide services for the development of different cultural activities. However, they have been intervened in one way or another; because with the passage of time, new needs increase, as well as new disciplines and therefore the spaces have been modified without having a previous analysis. Being the illustrious lojano Benjamín Carrión the founder of this institution, it is necessary that the city of Loja has an adequate infrastructure, since currently the House of Ecuadorian Culture "Benjamín Carrión" Núcleo de Loja presents a number of problems and needs. For this reason, it has been proposed to carry out an architectural intervention in the CCE building, maintaining its existing structure, and generating solutions to current problems such as: accessibility to the building, lack of spaces, lighting and ventilation problems, reduced spaces, acoustic problems in the auditorium, insufficiency and poor state of sanitary batteries, among others; for which a prior analysis is carried out using an architectural assessment and analysis methodology. With this, a precise diagnosis is obtained that allows the application of the appropriate strategies that will help to solve the current problems and needs of the building, creating an appropriate infrastructure so that the different artistic and cultural activities can be developed in a better way.
