Proyecto de innovación aplicativo móvil “LUCA AL PASO” para banco pichincha C.A

Abstract

Banco Pichincha C.A., es una institución financiera ecuatoriana con 115 años de trayectoria que ofrece un amplio portafolio de servicios a nivel nacional e internacional, con la finalidad de brindar un servicio de calidad y trato personalizado a sus clientes. Durante los últimos 4 años, el Banco ha reforzado áreas críticas de la organización como Gobierno de Datos y Centro Digital, con el fin de desarrollar nuevas tecnologías que permitan mejorar el acceso a los principales servicios del Banco y generar trámites más eficientes. Mediante la correcta administración de los fondos confiados por los clientes, Banco Pichincha C.A. oferta una amplia gama de créditos a personas naturales, micro, pequeñas, medianas, y grandes empresas para suplir la necesidad financiera y así iniciar, potenciar o ejecutar proyectos de inversión. Según el Banco Central del Ecuador, hasta septiembre del año 2020, 75 de cada 100 ecuatorianos adultos han tenido acceso a productos y servicios financieros. Aproximadamente 3,5 millones de personas de la población que habitan en zonas rurales desearían tener acceso a algún producto financiero; sin embargo, la lejanía de los puntos de acceso físicos y la dificultad para abrir una cuenta, son las principales razones para no acceder a soluciones bancarias. Con la propuesta de buscar reducir las desigualdades, incrementar la inclusión financiera y mejorar la inversión social, este proyecto propone crear un aplicativo móvil “Luca al Paso” que acorte las cifras de personas que no cuentan con una cuenta bancaria y que, además, puedan acceder a servicios que por no estar bancarizados no han tenido acceso anteriormente. Banco Pichincha C.A. is an Ecuadorian financial institution with 115 years of history that offers a broad portfolio of services at national and international level, with the purpose of providing quality service and personalized treatment to its customers. During the last four years, the Bank has reinforced critical areas of the organization such as Data Governance and Digital Center, to develop new technologies that will improve access to the Bank's main services and generate more efficient procedures. Through the proper management of the funds entrusted by customers, Banco Pichincha C.A. offers a wide range of loans to individuals, micro, small, medium, and large companies to meet their financial needs and thus initiate, strengthen, or execute investment projects. According to the Central Bank of Ecuador, as of September 2020, 75 out of every 100 Ecuadorian adults have had access to financial products and services. Approximately 3.5 million people living in rural areas would like to have access to some financial product; however, the remoteness of physical access points and the difficulty of opening an account are the main reasons for not having access to banking solutions. With the aim of reducing inequalities, increasing financial inclusion, and improving social investment, this project proposes the creation of a mobile application "Luca al Paso" to reduce the number of people who do not have a bank account and who, in addition, can access services that they have not had access to before because they are unbanked.
