Implementación de un modelo de pronóstico de la demanda y sistema de control de inventario para una empresa del sector retail deportivo

Abstract

Este estudio busca encontrar un modelo de gestión de demanda e inventarios que permita a la empresa Superdeporte S.A. mejorar los pronósticos y así mantener el nivel de inventario adecuado, para de esta manera cumplir con las proyecciones de venta, generar mayores ingresos y utilidad, además de impulsar el crecimiento de las marcas que se encuentran en el portafolio; y así mantener las tiendas del grupo MARATHON SPORTS en el futuro. A partir del estudio de casos similares de implementación de modelos de gestión de demanda e inventario se presentará los modelos adecuados al contexto de la realidad del grupo y finalmente se evaluarán los resultados de este estudio, que se espera muestren mejoras en los pronósticos y niveles de inventario. This study seeks to find a demand and inventory management model that allows the company Superdeporte S.A. improve forecasts therefore maintain the adequate inventory level, in order to meet sales projections, generate higher income and profit, as well as boost the growth of the portfolio brands; and thus maintain the stores of the MARATHON SPORTS group in the future. From the study of similar cases of implementation of demand and inventory management models, the appropriate models will be presented to the context of the reality of the group and finally the results of this study will be evaluated, which is expected to show improvements in the forecasts and levels of Inventory.
