Propuesta de infraestructura verde de conectividad entre el “río Uchima” y la parroquia san pedro de Vilcabamba –Loja – Ecuador

Abstract

El Río Uchima de la Parroquia San Pedro de Vilcabamba es un recurso hídrico que forma parte de la Cuenca del Catamayo Chira, se establece como uno de los afluentes más importantes para las actividades productivas, económicas y turísticas del sector. En la actualidad no existe un desarrollo planificado de integración (accesibilidad) entre la cuenca hídrica y sus márgenes de protección con la zona poblada de la parroquia, considerando que en las investigaciones realizadas se establece que es uno de los ríos con las aguas más cristalinas y limpias con propiedades curativas, la integración actual se realiza por medio de senderos y de una manera no estructurada , el objetivo de este trabajo investigativo es abordar una propuesta de infraestructura verde que armonice los elementos existentes en el medio, trasladando las condiciones paisajísticas y ambientales a los espacios consolidados , con el aprovechamiento de recursos y estrategias de sostenibilidad que se conformarán a través de componentes de diseño creando recorridos intercalados con espacios de estancia generando una interacción que se base en la calidad ambiental y conectividad. Existen varias ciudades alrededor del mundo que han sabido aprovechar sus ríos para generar espacios públicos y han transformado estos lugares en un gran atractivo para todos los usuarios.The Uchima River of the San Pedro de Vilcabamba Parish is a water resource that is part of the Catamayo-Chira basin, it is established as one of the most important tributaries for the productive, economic and tourist activities of the sector. At present there is no planned development of integration (accessibility) between the water basin and its margins of protection with the populated area of the parish, considering that in the investigations carried out it is established that it is one of the rivers with the most crystalline waters and clean with curative properties, the current integration is carried out through trails and in an unstructured way, the objective of this investigative work is to address a proposal for a green infrastructure that harmonizes the existing elements in the environment, transferring the landscape and environmental conditions to the consolidated spaces, with the use of resources and sustainability strategies that are formed through design components creating routes interspersed with living spaces generating an interaction that is based on environmental quality and connectivity. There are several cities around the world that have known how to take advantage of their rivers to generate public spaces and have transformed these places into a great attraction for all their citizens.
