Diseño de la terminal terrestre de Catamayo

Abstract

El cantón de Catamayo es uno de los principales sectores de comercio, agricultura y turístico de la provincia de Loja. Es uno de los valles más fértiles a nivel provincial y nacional, se encuentra rodeado por dos ríos importantes para el cantón como son el Boquerón y Guayabal, su acogida turística es gracias a su excelente clima y la buena gastronomía de los habitantes de la ciudad. La ciudad de Catamayo ha tenido un crecimiento considerable en los últimos años con respecto a su población y los cientos de turistas que llegan en fines de semana y en épocas de feriado, logrando que Catamayo necesite de un Terminal Terrestre para su respectivo desplazamiento de personas. Un Terminal Terrestre es una edificación complementaria del transporte Terrestre que cuenta con instalaciones y equipamiento para el embarque y desembarque de pasajeros. El cantón Catamayo no cuenta con dicha infraestructura. Por lo tanto, la zona céntrica del cantón se convierte en el lugar de llegada y salida de buses, provocando congestionamiento vehicular, peligros como ser atropellado, robos, ruidos de bocinas de vehículos, gases tóxicos provocando por autobuses, comprometiendo a la salud y al medio ambiente. Por tal razón se propone el “Diseño de un Terminal Terrestre en el cantón Catamayo” que ayude a solucionar los problemas de transporte ya mencionados, dando confort y comodidad al ser humano mediante conceptos sustentables. Para fundamentarlo teóricamente se realizó una investigación bibliográfica sobre temas relacionados al tema: reglamentos, ordenanzas municipales, libros, artículos académicos, proyectos referentes, tesis sobre terminales terrestres. Y así, definir la propuesta de diseño arquitectónico de la Terminal Terrestre.The canton of Catamayo is one of the main sectors of commerce, agriculture and tourism in the province of Loja. A Terrestrial Terminal is a complementary building of the Terrestrial transport that has facilities and equipment for the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers. The Catamayo canton does not have such infrastructure. Therefore, the central area of the canton becomes the place of arrival and departure of buses, causing traffic congestion, dangers such as being run over, theft, noise from vehicle horns, toxic gases caused by buses, compromising health and safety. environment. For this reason, the "Design of a Terrestrial Terminal in the Catamayo canton" is proposed to help solve the aforementioned transport problems, giving comfort and convenience to the human being through sustainable concepts. To support it theoretically, a bibliographic investigation was carried out on topics related to the subject: regulations, municipal ordinances, books, academic articles, reference projects, thesis on land terminals. And thus, define the architectural design proposal for the Terrestrial Terminal.
