La ‘marcha hacia el oeste’ de WANG JISI en la conformación de la iniciativa de la franja y la ruta: un análisis desde la geopolítica crítica y del análisis del discurso

Abstract

El objetivo de esta tesis es determinar las influencias intelectuales en la Iniciativa de la Franja y la Ruta. Para ello, esta investigación trata de llenar ciertos vacíos en la literatura en cuanto a realizar un análisis desde la geopolítica crítica y el posestructuralismo. De esta forma, se parte con una idea a priori: que la tesis de la ‘Marcha hacia el Oeste’ propuesta por el prominente académico chino de las Relaciones Internacionales, Wang Jisi, articula las motivaciones geoestratégicas de la Iniciativa de la “Franja y la Ruta”, la cual es un desplazamiento basado en el soft power en la zona del Indo Pacífico. Esta investigación se la realizó mediante la metodología análisis de contenido cualitativo de medio rango o también llamado estudio de corte abductivo.The aim of this thesis is to determine the intellectual influences on the Belt and Road Initiative. To do this, this research tries to fill certain gaps in the literature regarding an analysis from critical geopolitics and post-structuralism. In this way, it starts with an a priori idea: that the ‘Marching West’ thesis proposed by the prominent Chinese International Relations academic, Wang Jisi, articulates the geostrategic motivations of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, which is a movement based on soft power in the Indo-Pacific area. This research was carried out using the mid-range qualitative content analysis methodology or also called abductive cut study.
