Abstract: | El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue analizar el impacto que las políticas públicas en la seguridad ciudadana, utilizando como unidad de análisis el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, uno de los más populosos de la ciudad de Lima. Estudio con enfoque cualitativo, descriptivo y transversal. Se realizaron entrevistas estructuradas de profundidad a representantes municipales, dirigentes vecinales y miembros de la policía nacional; los resultados del análisis de estas entrevistas permitieron comprender que los entrevistados tienen la percepción que las políticas públicas no se desarrollan de manera eficiente lo que conlleva a problemas como la falta de personal policial lo que afecta directamente al nivel de seguridad ciudadana. |
Description: | The main objective of this research was to analyze the impact of public policies on citizen security, using the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, one of the most populous in the city of Lima, as the unit of analysis. Study with a qualitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach. Structured in-depth interviews were conducted with municipal representatives, neighborhood leaders, and members of the national police; the results of the analysis of these interviews allowed to understand that the interviewees have the perception that public policies are not developed efficiently, which leads to problems such as the lack of police personnel, which directly affects the level of citizen security. |
