| Abstract: | Este documento es el resumen del estudio exploratorio sobre los esfuerzos de América del Sur (exceptuando Colombia) en la decisión de adopción e implementación del estándar de la TDT, que fue desarrollado por Japón (1980) y modificado por Brasil (2006) para que responda a las características geográficas y demográficas de los territorios del Sur, siendo una oportunidad para que Brasil sea el promotor de un estándar común que beneficie a las industrias tecnológicas, culturales, de contenidos de la región.Para determinar la importancia de una decisión común y los alcances de las políticas de comunicación a nivel regional, se exploró la decisión sobre la implementación del estándar analógico de televisión en los años sesenta y setenta en el continente y las consecuencias que derivaron de este proceso; con el propósito de subrayar los esfuerzos de cambio de los gobiernos en el panorama comunicacional. |
| Description: | The document is a summary of the exploratory study on the efforts of South America (except Colombia) in the decision-making and implementation of the standard of Digital Terretrial Television (DTT), which was developed by Japan (1980) and modified by Brazil (2006). This one meets the geographic and demographic areas of Southern characteristics that will be the opportunity for Brazil to be the promoter of a common standard that benefits weither cultural ortechnological industries in the region.To determine the importance of a common decision and the reach of communication policies at regional level, the decision on implementation of standard analog television in the sixties and seventies in the continent andthe consequences derived from this process; in order to highlight the efforts of governments change in the communications landscape. |
