| Abstract: | El objetivo de investigación, fue conocer gustos y preferencias en estudiantes de terceros de bachillerato de instituciones públicas y privadas del Cantón Loja, República del Ecuador; referente a carreras e Instituciones de Educación Superior, para ello se realizó el estudio a una población de 57 entidades educativas y 4556 estudiantes registrados en el Ministerio de Educación del periodo lectivo 2015-2016, las preguntas fueron elaboradas en orden lógico y escritas de manera clara, ejecutadas a través de una herramienta virtual; aplicando el muestreo no probabilístico intencional, caracterizando permisión de autoridades para la aplicación de técnicas de investigación en instituciones con mayor número poblacional, y acceso a laboratorios e internet. La muestra fue del 71% es decir, 2084 estudiantes de 22 colegios encuestados en tiempo real, concluyendo que este artículo contiene el análisis relacional de tres preguntas del total de la encuesta, que reflejan la preferencia de estudiantes por carreras como: salud, arquitectura y administrativas. |
| Description: | The objective of the research was to know the preferences in last year high school students from public and private institutions in the Canton of Loja, Republic of Ecuador, referring to preferences in careers and Higher Education Institutions. For this purpose, a study was carried out on a population of 57 educational entities and 4556 students enrolled in the Ministry of Education during the academic period 2015-2016. The questions were elaborated in a logical andwritten way, executed through a virtual tool, applying the non-probabilistic sampling intentional approach, considering the permission of authorities for the application of the intended research techniques in institutions with the greater population, and access to laboratories and the internet. The sample consisted of 71% of the population, meaning, 2084 students from 22 schools surveyed in real time, concluding that this article contains the relational analysis of three questions from the total survey, which reflect the preference of students for careers such as health, architecture and administrative areas. |
