The use of alternative gases to the air in the tires, aims to improve the performance of the vehicle, in stability and fuel consumption as well. The present research determines the fuel consumption under three different tire pressures with air and nitrogen, and at different vehicle speeds. However, the use of nitrogen in everyday vehicles has been introduced much slower and in a much smaller proportion. This is why the following article is focused on showing the differences that the nitrogen presents in the inflation of the tires against air. Clear comparisons are used at specific points of interest to the user of a daily vehicle between nitrogen and air. In this way we will conclusively show which of the two gases has the greatest advantages over the other for vehicles of daily use.es_ES
