Since the creation of seat belts, were born with them a solution to a problem of the crew vehicle, which take care of their lives. Following this background we come to the mechanical strength and elastic that must have these elements that can provide greater security. Thus, in Ecuador, the rules are regularized responsible for RTE INEN 034, the same that are based on international standards; such as American, European, Korean, Japanese, etc. With this research will seek to generate a study true theoretical / practical by destructive testing to find statistical, quantitative and comparative values of the efficiency of the seat belts are fitted vehicles category M1 and N1 sold in our country taking into account various factors such as materials, distributed forces, tension, and restrictions, verifying such values with the US standards FR 49-571 Article §571.209, §571.210 paragraph S5.1 compared to the Korean standards KMVSS Article 27, paragraphs one through six...es_ES
