Umami - El Espacio como experiencia

Abstract

El presente proyecto de titulación propone el diseño interior de un espacio gastronómico concebido como una experiencia sensorial integral, en el que la arquitectura actúa como mediadora entre el usuario y la esencia de la marca Umami. A partir del análisis del sitio, su contexto urbano y el estado actual del inmueble, se plantea una intervención que busca articular coherencia espacial, identidad y atmósfera, diferenciándose de su entorno inmediato y potenciando la identidad de Umami y su capacidad para convertirse en un referente local, donde la experiencia espacial refuerza la esencia de la marca y su vínculo con el usuario...This project proposes the interior design of a gastronomic space conceived as an integral sensory experience, in which architecture acts as a mediator between the user and the essence of the Umami brand. Based on the analysis of the site, its urban context, and the current condition of the property, the intervention seeks to articulate spatial coherence, identity, and atmosphere, differentiating itself from its immediate surroundings while strengthening Umami’s identity and its potential to become a local reference, where the spatial experience reinforces the brand’s essence and its connection with the user. The proposal is grounded in the concept “Ritual of the Senses”, understanding space as a perceptual journey that progressively activates the user’s senses through spatial organization, materiality, lighting, and sequential transitions.
