Centro de desarrollo comunitario para Rumipamba parroquia rural del cantón Rumiñahui

Abstract

La presente tesis desarrolla el anteproyecto arquitectónico de un Centro de Desarrollo Comunitario (CDC) en Rumipamba, parroquia rural del cantón Rumiñahui, Quito - Ecuador. Esta propuesta nace como respuesta a la crítica situación de exclusión y desigualdad que enfrenta la parroquia rural en comparación a la urbe debido a la insuficiente infraestructura educativa, de salud y servicios comunitarios, factores que limitan el acceso equitativo a oportunidades básicas y deterioran la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. A pesar del crecimiento poblacional registrado, Rumipamba mantiene la tasa de analfabetismo más elevada del cantón y un alto porcentaje de estudiantes fuera del sistema educativo, según datos del INEC. El mapeo territorial evidencia una alta concentración de servicios en la urbe, dejando a las zonas rurales desatendidas. Además, la única escuela de la parroquia, “Franz Warzawa”, está ubicada en una zona de riesgo volcánico, lo cual incrementa la vulnerabilidad de la población infantil. En paralelo, la ausencia de equipamientos comunitarios ha dificultado el fortalecimiento del tejido social, la organización local y el acceso a espacios de aprendizaje, participación y desarrollo integral... This thesis develops the architectural preliminary design of a Community Development Center (CDC) in Rumipamba, a rural parish in the Rumiñahui canton, Quito – Ecuador. The proposal arises as a response to the critical situation of exclusion and inequality faced by the rural parish in comparison to the urban area, due to insufficient infrastructure in education, health, and community services—factors that limit equitable access to basic opportunities and directly affect the quality of life of its inhabitants.Despite population growth, Rumipamba maintains the highest illiteracy rate in the canton and a high percentage of students outside the educational system, according to INEC data. Territorial mapping reveals a high concentration of services in urban areas, leaving rural zones underserved. Furthermore, the parish’s only school, “Franz Warzawa”, is located in a volcanic risk zone, increasing the vulnerability of the student population.
