Abstract

El caso clínico de “Rehabilitación Integral en un Paciente con Compromiso Periodontal”, se enmarca en una rehabilitación integral odontológica, para lo cual se desarrolla el plan de tratamiento preventivo y rehabilitador que permitan devolverle su funcionalidad, agradable y estético. Se sustenta en teorías y evidencia científica comprendido en tres capítulos. El primero detalla lo que corresponde a Prótesis Fija, la que permite sustituir dientes ausentes con ayuda de los dientes remanentes del paciente. El segundo capítulo detalla la Prótesis Removible, lo que permite sustituir dientes con la capacidad de retirar y volver a colocarse. En el tercer capítulo se sustenta teóricamente lo que corresponde a Prótesis Total, la cual consiste en sustituir todos los dientes, devolviendo al paciente un medio biológico oral y dinámico. Con el sustento teórico, se procede a realizar el caso clínico que consiste la rehabilitación integral; para lo cual se inicia con el tratamiento Periodontal y una vez obtenido resultados favorables por el paciente, se continua con el tratamiento de rehabilitación, el cual consiste en una prótesis fija que abarca la región anterior superior, elaboración de coronas individuales y prótesis removible con ataches, lo cual ayuda a una mayor retención, estabilidad y estética. A case of "Integral Rehabilitation in Periodontal Patient Engagement" is part of a comprehensive dental rehabilitation, for which the plan of preventive and rehabilitative treatment to enable restores its functionality, and aesthetically pleasing develops. Finally the lower full denture is made and comprehensive treatment culminating higher.
