Our project "Preparing for a car rally," summarizes what has been learned over the 10 semesters of Automotive Eng. We saw in this thesis the possibility to test all our knowledge and skills, as well as facing our doubts and difficulties which might present. Composed of five working groups, we appreciate and that was the best option to develop skills in each of the ten members of the project, was the ablest and therefore headed their specialized carrier in Chapter IV, "Structure and Body ", we place all our ingenuity, time, labor and responsibility to achieve success. For the creation of this project, we started with the study and analysis of body structure, and considering that knowledge of the various properties of metals (physical, metal and deformity) as well as the process of forming the same, lead us to select the best elements for the overall safety of roll bar or roll cage, front stabilizer bar, the sump guard and fuel tank protector, all soldiers with MIG welding. In the case of the roll bar, the best component for welding is provided by the base material was black steel pipe to be resistant, economical and less deformable. The aluminum hard blow to be resistant to engine protection, to prevent strikes and avoid going the oil and melt the engine, fuel saver while it did with plates of tool. In several of the binding sites of the body, is needed to strengthen weld beads, it did so with MIG welding.
