Análisis de la huella de carbono emitida por el vehículo en base a las medidas físicas del neumático

Abstract

En un contexto de crisis climática, la medición de la huella de carbono del sector transporte en Ecuador es crucial, especialmente considerando el crecimiento del parque automotor y las emisiones asociadas. Los neumáticos, como elemento clave, influyen en la huella de carbono debido a su diseño, fabricación, uso y disposición final. Esta investigación analiza la relación del INCREMENTO del consumo de combustible entre las medidas físicas de los neumáticos y la huella de carbono emitida por un vehículo. Se busca comprender el impacto ambiental de las decisiones relacionadas con la selección y uso de neumáticos, tomando en cuenta las especificaciones y estándares establecidos por el fabricante. In the context of the climate crisis, measuring the carbon footprint of the transportation sector in Ecuador is crucial, especially considering the growth of the vehicle fleet and the associated emissions. Tires, as a key element, influence the carbon footprint due to their design, manufacturing, use, and final disposal. This research analyzes the relationship between the increase in fuel consumption and the physical dimensions of tires and the carbon footprint emitted by a vehicle. It aims to understand the environmental impact of decisions related to tire selection and use, taking into account the specifications and standards established by the manufacturer.
