Abstract: El proyecto de investigación titulado ‘‘El Medio Ambiente en las relaciones internacionales Ecuador-Colombia: el caso de las fumigaciones’’ bosqueja tres capítulos, donde se analiza o investiga los acontecimientos que han sucedido por los efectos nocivos de las fumigaciones con glifosato y sus efectos en territorio ecuatoriano. En el primer capítulo, se explica las definiciones generales que están dentro de la investigación, como los derechos humanos y las limitaciones del derecho medioambiental. Además como tema principal las fumigaciones, los objetivos de dichas fumigaciones y finalmente la importancia del glifosato para erradicar las plantaciones ilícitas. El segundo capítulo abarca una explicación sobre los principales organismos internacionales que se encargaron de garantizar los derechos del medio ambiente, los organismos que intervienen en el gran problema del daño ambiental y los órganos que se crearon gracias a los tratados para tratar del mismo tema. El tercer capítulo trata acerca de la historia del narcotráfico y los problemas sociales y ambientales fronterizos entre ambos países que han conllevado, provocando problemas. Y al finalizar la investigación se explica la demanda que Ecuador entablo en contra de Colombia ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia y el acuerdo alcanzado para no llegar a las instancias mencionadas anteriormente. Finalmente, se presentan las respectivas conclusiones y recomendaciones.
The research project titled 'THE ENVIRONMENT IN COLOMBIA ECUADOR INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: THE CASE OF PEST' 'outlines three chapters, which analyzes and investigates the events that have happened because of the harmful effects of glyphosate spraying and effects in Ecuador. In the first chapter, the general definitions that are part of the investigation, such as human rights since they were violated, definition of environment, limitations of environmental law and the issue of fumigation is the main thing is explained within research, the objectives of these fumigations and finally the importance of glyphosate to eradicate drug crops. The second chapter covers the major international agencies were responsible for ensuring the rights of the environment, the agencies involved in the great problem of damage to the environment and organs thanks to treaties to deal with the same subject were created. The third chapter discusses the history of drug trafficking and border issues between the two countries on this subject, causing social and environmental problems. And to complete the investigation demand Colombia Ecuador made before the International Court of Justice and the agreement reached to avoid reaching the instances mentioned above is explained. Finally consists of conclusions, recommendations, bibliography and appendices respective.
