Abstract

El presente estudio titulado “Intervención arquitectónica del mercado municipal del cantón Saraguro”, tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis y estudio de la infraestructura actual, debido a que presenta deterioro. Además,la carencia de una planificación arquitectónica debido o a que fue erigido hace 46 años, no satisface las necesidades de la población y no cumplen con los requisitos espaciales necesarios para llevar a cabo las transacciones comerciales.Dado lo mencionado, se plantea la intervención arquitectónica del mercado actual con el propósito de ofrecer a la población una infraestructura que posibilite la realización de actividades comerciales de manera ordenada, higiénica y cómoda. Basándose en normativas de mercados saludables. También se sugiere la implementación de estrategiasarquitectónicas, lo que implica la utilización de sistemas que favorezcan construcción y maximizar el aprovechamiento de recursos locales que permitan integrar en el entorno. De esta manera, la intención es crear un equipamiento confortable y funcional que pueda integrarse armoniosamente en el núcleo central del Cantón Saraguro, fomentando así la actividad de intercambio comercial y cultural.
