Diseño Urbano Arquitectónico de una Red de estacionamientos para el centro histórico de la ciudad de Loja

Abstract

La tesis aborda los desafíos críticos de congestión vehicular y escasez de estacionamientos en el Centro Histórico de Loja. La propuesta integral busca mejorar la movilidad y la experiencia en la zona, respondiendo a la tendencia actual de alejar los vehículos de los centros urbanos. La justificación radica en la necesidad de afrontar la falta de estacionamiento y la congestión, proponiendo limitar el acceso vehicular al perímetro exterior y desarrollar una red de estacionamientos mediante un diseño arquitectónico. Los objetivos incluyen realizar una búsqueda bibliográfica que respalde la propuesta, identificar el déficit de estacionamientos y sus soluciones, y desarrollar un diseño que reduzca dicho déficit, brindando una alternativa segura y conveniente. En última instancia, la tesis busca contribuir a la revitalización del Centro Histórico de Loja, promoviendo la revalorización, reduciendo la congestión y ofreciendo soluciones prácticas para el estacionamiento en la zona. The thesis addresses the critical challenges of traffic congestion and parking shortages in the Historic Center of Loja. The comprehensive proposal seeks to improve mobility and experience in the area, responding to the current trend of moving vehicles away from urban centers. The justification lies in the need to address the lack of parking and congestion, proposing to limit vehicular access to the exterior perimeter and develop a parking network through an architectural design. The objectives include conducting a literature search that supports the proposal, identifying the parking deficit and its solutions, and developing a design that reduces said deficit, providing a safe and convenient alternative. Ultimately, the thesis seeks to contribute to the revitalization of the Historic Center of Loja, promoting revaluation, reducing congestion and offering practical solutions for parking in the area.
