Cambio de la política exterior de Estados Unidos, entre las administraciones Obama y Trump, dentro del acuerdo de Asociación Transpacífico (TPP), en el período 2016 – 2017

Abstract

El Acuerdo de Asociación Transpacífico (TPP), fue un tratado que se creó desde el posicionamiento de Barack Obama. El TPP incluía a 11 países de la región Asia – Pacífico, en dónde brindaba a Estados Unidos, una nueva apertura y expansión al comercio y mercado internacional. Este tratado, significaba para Estados Unidos una oportunidad de liderar uno de los acuerdos más grandes a nivel geopolítico, económico y social. Barack Obama, era un gran aliado para el desarrollo de otros países por su apertura al libre comercio. Sin embargo, tras el posicionamiento de Donald Trump como nuevo presidente de los Estados Unidos, el TPP sufrió la salida de los Estados Unidos, ya que la nueva visión de Trump era el proteccionismo económico de su nación. Dentro de la presente investigación, se estudia los factores e implicaciones de la política exterior estadounidense que ambos mandatarios mantuvieron dentro de sus periodos. Asimismo, existe un análisis comparativo y evolutivo de ambas políticas exteriores y el impacto que Estados Unidos dejó dentro del TPP a nivel internacional y nacional al abandonar el acuerdo y lo que sucede actualmente con el Acuerdo de Asociación Transpacífico desde la teoría del Realismo Neoclásico. The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) was a treaty created under Barack Obama's administration. The TPP included 11 countries of the Asia-Pacific region, where it offered the United States a new opening and expansion of trade and international markets. This treaty meant for the United States an opportunity to lead one of the largest agreements at a geopolitical, economic and social level. Barack Obama was a great ally for the development of other countries due to his openness to free trade. However, after the positioning of Donald Trump as the new president of the United States, the TPP suffered the exit of the United States, since Trump's new vision was the economic protectionism of his nation. Within the present research, the factors and implications of the U.S. foreign policy that both presidents 3 maintained within their terms are studied. Likewise, there is a comparative and evolutionary analysis of both foreign policies and the impact that the United States left within the TPP at the international and national level by abandoning the agreement and what is currently happening with the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement from the theory of Neoclassical Realism.
