Rehabilitación en la Carrocería del Vehículo Mazda 3 Aplicando el Sistema de Pintura en Base de Agua

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se ha renovado parte de la carrocería del vehículo Mazda 3 para su posterior restauración de la pintura aplicando el proceso de pintura a base de agua para el vehículo. El desarrolló del proyecto está enfocado principalmente en cumplir con la demanda técnica y pedagógica en el campo de pintura automotriz con el uso de nuevas tecnologías de pinturas, para esto se revisó varias fuentes bibliográficas que permitieron adquirir más conocimientos de procesos de pintura automotriz actuales y su implementación. El proceso inició con la verificación visual de los pequeños daños que tiene la carrocería y condiciones ambientales que pudieron afectar la misma. Determinando la magnitud de los daños, las áreas afectadas fueron mancilladas y tratadas dando una superficie óptima para la adhesión de la pintura. Se desarmo el interior del vehículo para su limpieza interna sacando sillas y de más elementos que obstaculizan la limpieza, al finalizar el pintado del vehículo se verifica una última vez y se corrigen pequeños fallos con lija fina y con la pulidora para dar un acabado brillante de la carrocería. Una vez efectuadas todas las reparaciones, se procedió a pintar la carrocería con la nueva técnica de pintura a base de agua. In the present work, part of the bodywork of a Mazda 3 vehicle has been refurbished for its subsequent paint restoration applying the water-based paint process for the vehicle. The development of the project is mainly focuses on meeting the technical and pedagogical demand in the field of automotive painting using new painting technologies, for this several bibliographic resources were assessed to allow a greater understanding of current automotive painting processes and its implementation. The process began with the visual verification of the small damages that the bodywork has and environmental conditions that could affect it. Assessing the magnitude of the damage, the affected areas were stained and treated, giving an optimal surface for paint adhesion. The interior of the vehicle was disassembled for internal cleaning, removing chairs and other elements that hinder cleaning, at the end of the painting of the vehicle it is verified one last time and small errors are corrected with fine sandpaper and with the polisher to give it a polished finish to the bodywork. Once all the repairs were made, the bodywork was painted using the new water-based painting technique.
