Identificación y análisis de riesgos ergonómicos mediante aplicación de la ISO 45001 al personal del departamento de conductores de vehículos de la Cruz Roja Ecuatoriana de la Junta Provincial del Guayas

Abstract

La Cruz Roja Ecuatoriana - Junta Provincial del Guayas, como auxiliar de los poderes públicos en el ámbito humanitario, creada el 22 de abril de 1910, considerada responsable, ya que no dedica solo tiempo y sacrificio en alcanzar las metas encomendadas al servicio voluntario de la sociedad, sino también se preocupa por el cuidado y salud de su personal. A raíz de la amenaza de un conflicto armado con el vecino país de Perú, en ese año, un grupo de médicos guayaquileños, preocupados por la posible necesidad de apoyo sanitario para los heridos del ejército, crea la institución, la cual se dedica a trabajar para aliviar y prevenir el sufrimiento humano, promoviendo comunidades resilientes orientadas al desarrollo sostenible, mediante el accionar neutral e imparcial de su personal humanitario y el continuo desarrollo de la Sociedad Nacional, sustentados en los Principios Fundamentales del Movimiento. El presente trabajo está enfocado en el departamento de conductores de vehículos de emergencia. Las actividades están enmarcadas en la identificación del nivel de cumplimiento de la norma ISO 45001 y el diseño de herramientas metodológicas que permiten predecir, evaluar, examinar y vigilar los riesgos que pueden afectar la seguridad y salud de sus trabajadores en el desempeño de cada una de sus funciones. Aplicando este sistema la Cruz Roja Ecuatoriana – Junta Provincial del Guayas tendrá un mejor control con las obligaciones del SST aplicadas al personal conductor, ya que con carácter obligatorio se debe cumplir con dichas normas, debido a que se encuentras estipuladas en el Código de Trabajo y Reglamentos competentes por la autoridad del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social. The Ecuadorian Red Cross - Guayas Provincial committee, as an auxiliary of the public powers in the humanitarian field, created on April 22, 1910, considered responsible, since it does not dedicate only time and sacrifice to achieve the goals entrusted to the voluntary service of the society, but also cares about the care and health of its staff. As a result of the threat of an armed conflict with the neighboring country of Peru, in that year, a group of doctors from Guayaquil , concerned about the possible need for health support for the wounded of the army, which is dedicated to working to alleviate and prevent human suffering, promoting resilient communities oriented towards sustainable development, through the neutral and impartial actions of its humanitarian staff and the continuous development of the National Society, based on the Fundamental Principles of the Movement. The present work is focused on the department of drivers of emergency vehicles. The activities are framed in the identification of the level of compliance with the ISO 45001 standard and the design of methodological tools that allow predicting, evaluating, examining and monitoring the risks that may affect the safety and health of its workers in the performance of its functions. By applying this system, the Ecuadorian Red Cross – Guayas Provincial committee will have better control over the SST obligations applied to driver staff, since these rules are mandatory, due to the fact that they are stipulated in the Labor Code and Competent regulations by the authority of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security.
