Estudio de resistencia de la guadua angustifolia kunth extraída de fuentes locales de la provincia de Loja para aplicación estructural – arquitectónica

Abstract

El fin de esta investigación es la ampliación de conocimiento en cuanto a las propiedades físicas mecánicas de la caña Guadua Angustifolia Kunth provenientes de fuentes locales en la provincia de Loja - Ecuador, cuando está sometida a compresión paralela, compresión perpendicular, corte y flexión, una característica importante es la humedad que mantienen ya que la obtención de los materiales pertenece a la zona Interandina, esta presenta un ambiente diferente en estudios previos realizados como son en la Costa y en la Amazonía. De tal manera que, en el estado del arte, se planteó y se delimitó el área de estudio desde un enfoque cualitativo, por otro lado, a través de la metodología experimental se pretendió delimitar los valores de la resistencia a compresión, corte y flexión, estos basados en las normas ISO 22156, ISO 22157-1, 22157-2, los cuales fueron comparados y corroborados con datos de investigaciones previas. Los ensayos se realizaron con probetas de caña Guadua Angustifolia Kunth obtenidas de dos zonas específicas, estas plantaciones fueron determinadas en base a entrevistas, normas vigentes, su morfología y características físicas, estos elementos son provenientes de Malacatos parroquia del cantón Loja y del cantón Cariamanga de la provincia de Loja. El trabajo se desenvolvió desde un punto de vista empírico partiendo desde un enfoque cuantitativo, guiado en base a algunas variables independientes y ajustadas a través del estado del arte, en cuanto al diseño estructural arquitectónico, este se basó en los resultados de los ensayos de laboratorio lo cual permitió deducir su uso y aplicabilidad. Los resultados fueron explicados a través de tablas e información estadística, de tal manera que permitieron determinar los valores característicos del material para su ampliación de conocimiento y corroboración de datos con investigaciones previas. Con este aporte de investigación, se busca ampliar el tema en cuanto a guadua y su vez permita crear nuevas alternativas de aplicabilidad, además de estructural que este sea arquitectónico en la construcción.The purpose of this research is the expansion of knowledge regarding the mechanical physical properties of Guadua Angustifolia Kunth cane from local sources in the province of Loja-Ecuador when it is subjected to parallel compression, perpendicular compression, cutting and bending, a characteristic important is the humidity that they maintain since the obtaining of the materials belongs to the Interandina zone, this presents a different environment in previous studies carried out as they are in the Coast and in the Amazon. In such a way that, in the state of the art, the study area was raised and delimited from a qualitative approach, on the other hand, through the experimental methodology it was intended to delimit the values of resistance to compression, cutting and bending, these based on ISO 22156, ISO 22157-1, 22157-2 standards, which were compared and corroborated with data from previous research. The trials were conducted with Guadua Angustifolia Kunth cane specimens obtained from two specific areas, these plantations were determined based on interviews, current regulations, their morphology and physical characteristics, these elements are from Malacatos parish of the canton Loja and Cariamanga canton of the Loja province. The work was developed from an empirical point of view based on a quantitative approach, guided based on some independent variables and adjusted through the state of the art, in terms of architectural structural design, this was based on the results of the laboratory tests which allowed to deduce its use and applicability. The results were explained through tables and statistical information, in such a way that they allowed to determine the characteristic values of the material for its extension of knowledge and corroboration of data with previous investigations. With this contribution we seek to leave an open theme that allows us to create new alternatives and applicability as well as structural this is architectural in construction.
