Rehabilitación integral de un paciente mediante prótesis fija y prótesis removible con ataches.

Abstract

Una prótesis mixta consiste en la utilización de una prótesis removible la cual está ligada a una prótesis fija por medio de ataches. Para poder hacer una prótesis mixta primero debemos entender los fundamentos en los cuales debe quedar la oclusión del paciente partiendo siempre por el diagnóstico, segundo la manera en la cual va a ser realizada la prótesis fija y tercero, el diseño de la prótesis removible junto con la implementación de ataches como medio de retención del sistema protésico. La realización de todo tipo de prótesis dentro de la boca debe estar condicionada a una correcta planificación siguiendo todos los pasos presentes en cada una de las etapas del tratamiento.

To place a combined prosthesis must first understand the basics that should be the patient's occlusion, always starting with a correct diagnosis, second the way in which will be held fixed prosthesis, and third, the design of the partial denture prosthesis with the correct choice of attachments as a mean of retention of the prosthetic system. The performance of all types of prosthesis in the oral cavity should be subject to proper planning following all the steps present in each of the stages of treatment.
