Diseño arquitectónico de un parque autódromo para el cantón Catamayo

Abstract

El crecimiento de las personas que practican y gustan de este deporte automovilístico ha obligado a distintos países a crear infraestructuras especializadas para dichas competencias denominándolos autódromos. En el Ecuador existe un único circuito ubicado al norte del país llamado autódromo José Tobar Tobar. La constante demanda de competidores y espectadores que asisten al autódromo ubicado en Ibarra, tanto de la región sur del país como del sur de Colombia, permite el turismo entre países vecinos. Catamayo es un eje central entre algunas provincias del sur del país y norte del Perú, por lo que se busca integrar ese vínculo como lo realizó Ecuador con Colombia mediante el circuito antes mencionado, que ha demostrado con resultados su aumento de visitantes generado por estos eventos automovilísticos. Debido a que las competencias de un autódromo no son continuas y el circuito permanece inactivo se busca complementar actividades recreativas y deportivas, que dentro del cantón presentaron un déficit de espacio público y con el acercamiento de la población se pudo determinar las acciones más apropiadas para su integración dentro del proyecto. El objetivo de la investigación es el diseño arquitectónico de un parque autódromo que integre actividades lúdico-recreativas con un circuito de carreras en el cantón Catamayo. Durante el desarrollo del trabajo se aplican técnicas de investigación que permitieron facilitar la información entre las que se destacan: levantamiento de información en campo, estudio de prefactibilidad, entrevistas, todo con el propósito de establecer la propuesta arquitectónica en base a normativas y adaptabilidad a su entorno.

The growth of the people who practice and like this sport is forced to different countries to create specialized infrastructures for these competences, calling them autodromes. In Ecuador there is a unique circuit located in the north of the country called the José Tobar Tobar racetrack. The constant demand of competitors and spectators attending the racetrack located in Ibarra, both in the southern region of the country and in southern Colombia allows tourism between neighboring countries. Catamayo is a central axis between some provinces in the south of the country and north of Peru, so it seeks to integrate this link as Ecuador did with Colombia through the aforementioned circuit, which has shown with results its increase in visitors generated by these automobile events. Because the skills of a road course are not continuous and the circuit remains inactive, it seeks to complement recreational and sports activities, which within the canton presented a deficit of public space and with the approach of the population it was possible to determine the most appropriate actions for its integration within the project. The objective of the research is the architectural design of a racetrack park that integrates leisure and recreational activities with a racing circuit in the canton of Catamayo. During the development of the work research techniques are applied that allowed to facilitate the information among which stand out: information gathering in the field, prefeasibility study, interviews, all with the purpose of establishing the architectural proposal based on regulations and adaptability to its environment.
