Studies carried out within the International University of Ecuador are based on the study of the wear of an internal combustion engine, specifically the tests were carried out in 3 vehicles CHEVROLET VITARA of different mileage in which We perform vacuum tests that consist of placing the vacuum in the vacuum sockets of the vacuum meter and once we have the connected equipment you get a different value at idle and at 1500 rpm. The second test was the compression test in which it is placed he compasses meter instead of one of the spark plugs and the fuse of the gas passage is removed. When the equipment is in place, the results are obtained by accelerating the engine and the process is repeated in each cylinder. All these measurements are done to show that the vehicle loses compression by natural wear and as the mileage increases as well as losing compression loses power and performance in the vehicle. In addition, in order to generate awareness in drivers and vehicle users maintain a constant control of the operation and a rigorous maintenance of the motor and its surrounding parts, thus avoiding premature wear, such as possible contaminations.
