Cooperación internacional y acción cultural: reformulando nuevas estrategias de intervención pública

Abstract

En esta investigación se analiza el aporte de la cooperación internacional en los procesos de acción cultural y su participación en la construcción de políticas culturales en Ecuador, considerando el debate sobre el rol de la cultura como categoría de intervención pública en el sistema internacional (liderado en particular por la Organización de Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura – UNESCO). Este debate produjo una reconfiguración del discurso político en el campo cultural nacional. En el primer capítulo se sitúan aportes teóricos que permiten entender a la cultura como una construcción social, inmersa en relaciones de poder, que se estructura entre diversos agentes (individuos e instituciones). This research analyzes the contribution of international cooperation in cultural action processes and its participation in the construction of cultural policies in Ecuador, considering the debate on the role of culture as a category of public intervention in the international system (led in Particularly by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - UNESCO).
